Amusement 13 has announced their Birmingham Gay Pride Takeover. Beginning 22nd May 2015, the venue will host a master class of electronic music, across three nights and four open music spaces, including an all-new secret room.
The UK’s most successful female rapper, Ms Dynamite, who has worked with the likes of DJ Zinc, Shy FX and Major Lazer, will perform on the night, alongside Bristol-based producer, Redlight, who has been an influential figure in the electronic music scene over the last few years. Also lined up is a Birmingham exclusive back-to-back session between garage expert, Royal T and Butterz Records, Flava D.
Amusement 13 will for the first time introduce their all-new secret music space; a select world-class production, including Void Acoustics sound and CO2 Jet installation. Additionally the new room will embrace state of the art LED screens, lasers and visual effects, and offer ground-breaking aesthetics. Guests can expect a magical atmosphere with lots of surprises and festivities throughout the three nights.
Lifestyle brand FZKS will be hosting the first FREE event, featuring South London dubstep producer, Benton, known for pioneering some of the most innovative beats in the business. The unique garage and bassline DJ, Amy Becker and drum and bass producer, Foreign Concept, most known for his track ‘Mob Justice’ will too perform on the night.
Other acts to preform over the three-date event will include: Toyboy & Robin, Tommy Vercetti, Jakkin Rabbit, Artful Dodger and many more.
Amusement 13 is giving independent brands like Bristol Club, FZKS and S.O.U.P, a platform to build upon and advance as a cultural movement.
